Dr. Alieka Anderson: Here to Fight For You!

Dr. Alieka Anderson has been a force in our community for years, both as a School Board Member and now County Commissioner for District 1. Now she is looking to represent all of Clayton County as the next Clayton County Commission Chairwoman! As she embarks on this campaign to continue raising the bar for Clayton County, we are asking for your vote and support to help bring prosperity, safety, and opportunity to all of Clayton County!

Experienced Leadership with Fresh Ideas

Dr. Anderson knows how to get things done. As your District Commissioner and with over 13 years serving on the Clayton Board of Education, she has the experience and trust to continue leading and follow through on her promises.

Here are just a few of her priorities:

Economic Development

Clayton County serves as the gateway of Atlanta from the South, but yet we haven’t seen the same level of development that is occurring elsewhere in the state. Dr. Anderson is meeting the needs of the District and is bringing better businesses, restaurants, and jobs to Clayton County.

Keep Clayton County Clean!

No one wants to live in a community that is dirty. As your District 1 Commissioner, Dr. Anderson has created and sponsored Trash Amnesty Days, where residents can easily dispose of household junk. She has changed the way Clayton County handles trash pick up and ensures no one in Clayton County is forced to see junk and garbage in their community.

Providing Resources to our Seniors

Our seniors are the most valuable assets we have in our community, and after this past year, they deserve more resources. Initiatives such as Meals on Wheels, Senior Recreational Activities, and more should be provided by our county to ensure we are taking care of our elders! Stay tuned for more events for our seniors!

Developing our Workforce

Our community needs to continue investing in our workforce to ensure businesses have a prepared and educated workforce to employ. As a former school board member, I have a plan to work with the school system and local businesses to ensure we are training our youth and young adults to meet the needs of businesses in this day and age.
